Blasting music in the car is something we all love to do from time to time. Whether it is alone or with friends, we all know the feeling when our favorite song on the radio comes on. Well just imagine that tune comes over the radio and you turn up with music on a rainy day. The last thing you would ever expect would be to have all of your windows in the car come down. Unfortunately, if you own a late model GMC Terrain or Chevrolet Equinox, this may just be your reality.
General Motors has released a service bulletin for a possible remedy to the problem. If the speakers are playing loud, it may cause the power window switches to lose memory from the vibrations of the music. Once the switches lose memory it may cause the window to roll down spontaneously. This is just another example of poor GM quality. We hope GM can take this as a wake up call to not think quarterly in terms of revenue. Instead, take the time needed to build a quality vehicle that will not give owners headaches.
